Adelina joined the Cosmovici Intellectual Property team in 2021, after having collaborated with a reputed Romanian law firm as an associate within the Intellectual Property department thereof.
She graduated from the University of Bucharest, where she received her Bachelor of Laws and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Law at the University of Bucharest. Adelina is also a fully qualified member of the Bucharest Bar, fluent in both English and German.
Her prior expertise consists of administration and prosecution of trademark portfolios, pre-filing clearance searches, drafting oppositions against national and European trademarks, monitoring and enforcing IP rights, as well as reviewing and implementing contractual arrangements for the assignment of IP rights owned by the employees and subcontractors in favour of companies.
She has also been involved in multiple due diligence processes with a specific focus on IP matters.
Additionally, her activity also includes assistance in representation in front of the WIPO, EUIPO, USPTO, Romanian PTO, and Swiss PTO, with both the filing and prosecution of various IP rights, drawing up formalities regarding settlements of various disputes, monitoring the implementation of legal clauses and business analysis reports related to IP portfolios as well as administrative matters related to IP assets.
